Tim's Tea House Cafe

Very scenic popular cafe for an English high tea experience. However, we came at lunch and was pleasantly surprised by many empty tables and very fast service. You have to order at the counter which is a bit annoying but ok lah, its a business strategy to get people to want to order more pretty desserts… but mostly that’s it, desserts are pretty but taste is just ok. We had the carrot cake which was ok but quite sweet, without sufficient balance from cream cheese frosting. lemon curd cake was pleasant but had minimal lemon curd. the scones were good but clotted cream not good texture and jam too sweet. our mains did better. the fries were good, mac & cheese spicy and piping hot (though oddly came with potato chips), daging salai masak lemak spagetti was also fine but a bit salty. coffees were nicely presented but the beans were too acidic for our liking. everything came out very promptly, but basic things like cutlery were missing until requested. service well-mannered though not particularly warm or friendly. although nothing stood out as excellent, we enjoyed our meal here and glad to try the place. The bathroom was also quite clean which was nice.

Having a private wedding ceremony for my ex colleague here..the food is stunning, no over sweet dessert, no excessive seasoning for others main menu..they taste just nice. Since the food is a lot, staff gave us tapau box to take away the food..with the permission of the bride of course.. Great place to have a small function or gathering..calm and cosy.

Honestly, I was already full, but still bought the desserts just for the aesthetic—gotta do it for the photo, right? But jokes aside, we actually finished everything. The rose pistachio cake was really good, the pavlova was light and not overly sweet (finally!), and there was one more cake—maybe Victoria sandwich? Not sure, but it was tasty too. The iced matcha latte was decent, nothing mind-blowing but it did the job. The place itself looks like a fancy vintage setup, very photogenic. Too bad I came straight from work in my uniform, so no OOTD pics this round. Still, food? Worth it.

I attend this cafe during moreh in Ramadhan 2025.. It is my first time ever, after so long I want to go since 2015.. I previously work nearby Melawati but I never ever had a chance to experience their food.. I keep on postponed until 2025 (10 years later).. This area is already full with car, plus never ever ending traffic jammed.. I hate it so much.. Finally, they keep on posting in social media about their shops and they extended their operations hour during Ramadhan.. Alhamdulillah, what a coincidences.. The new location is nice, nearby with main road.. Back to the topic.. I went here with my friend.. So, here's list what we have ordered = Peach strudel Rm14 Cream cheese + lots of peaches + crispy and soft Medovik Cake Rm16 This is my first ever Russian cake.. So i don't know the exact taste.. But the medovik cake is so NICE.. not so sweet.. the taste is just perfect.. THIS IS MY GO-TO CAKE.. Creme Brulee Rm10 I have no words.. just perfect.. Tiramisu Cheesecake Rm20 Please try.. this is a cheesecake version.. they also have tiramisu cake (no cheese) .. so choose wisely if you dislike cheesecake.. Carrott Walnut Cake Rm14 Mmmm it is okay.. overall it is nice.. but i have a better place for this carrot cake.. Overall, it really does taste delicious Yes.. I WANT TO REPEAT AGAIN I do hope their price will maintain, their quality will maintain.. So, I can buy more and more and more without any regrets..

Simply blown away by the Spaghetti Daging Salai Masak Lomak. The smoky beef is really juicy and rich with the utterly delightful masak lemak flavour. The staff really delivered fantastic service. On par with the classy aesthetic and serene ambience of the establishment. Will definitely come again to try out their other menus
